- USERUTIL was founded by Roger Simpkins of Compu*Byte
- System Software and Dave Blackett of Blackett
- Computer Service. We honestly believe in the
- shareware concept. This program is being distributed
- in two ways. One is the shareware version. The
- other is the commerical version.
-
-
- Shareware versions of USERUTIL will be released
- approximately every 8 months. However the
- documentation as you can see is in a condensed
- version.
-
- Users are encouraged to run the program for a period
- of 30 days, after which time a decision has to be
- made. If you find USERUTIL fits your needs as a
- SysOp of a WILDCAT! system, you are then expected to
- register their copy by making payment to Blackett
- Computer Service. Those that don't find it useful
- or doesn't suit their needs are expected to cease
- using the software, including discontinuing any
- operations that are currently running it.
-
-
- Here are some wuick notes about the program.
-
- First the shareware version doesn't support the scheduler, so
- there are no command line options.
-
- On the purge users option...
- When you are prompted to bypass users at 01/01/80 that is the
- default last call date for new users.
-
- The rest should be self-explanitory. If you run into any
- problems with the program or if you have suggestions, please
- call us.
-
-
- One last quick note here, because I can't say this enough.
- We would both like to thank Jim Harrer of Mustang Computer
- Management. Never before have I meant a person that is has
- helpful as Jim his (Rick you do a good job too). Without Jim's
- help I am sure that Roger and I would still be pulling our hair
- late at night.
-
-
-
- Current programs in the development for the WILDCAT! System.
-
-
- NetExpress - Ability to shell out and have netmail
- capabilities.
-
- FileChecker - Add several files at once to your file
- database includes file name, size and date.
